Bank of St. Francisville
Carter Leak, President/CEO
St. Francisville, LA
15,536 total square feet
After performing a ten-year growth study for the Bank of St. Francisville, Design Build Concepts
concluded that the bank would need approximately twice the amount of current space to
meet their future needs. The bank’s decision to expand and renovate their existing main
office gave DBC an opportunity to design a facility which would improve their delivery of
retail services to customers and accommodate their growing staff.
The bank requested that a regional style of architecture be maintained in the design. To help
achieve this look, DBC utilized reclaimed brick and timber along with wood shutters on the
exterior of the 15,536 square foot facility as well as coffered, wood beam ceilings and
exposed brick walls on the interior. By expanding their service abilities and redistributing their
use of space, DBC created a more pleasing environment for both the customers and
employees of the bank while staying true to their southern Louisiana heritage.
