Design Build Concepts launched their third project with Legacy Community Federal Credit Union by
renovating the credit union’s primary branch office, ideally located on a corner lot in downtown Birmingham. For the
overall design, DBC refaced the existing exterior of the former grocery store with attractive, new materials and incorporated
the credit union’s new brand image, complete with a front entry tower, which was introduced in their previous projects.
Additionally, DBC modernized the interiors of this 13,360 square foot facility with contemporary furnishings
and finishes, along with an updated teller line and check desk. With the newly added windows providing a fresh perspective to the
facility and the pedestrian friendly plaza in place, DBC achieved a transitional design better suited for the credit union’s urban
Birmingham locale.
