Union Bank
Tommy Duncan, President
Jamestown, Tennessee
26,900 total square feet
Tradition, stability and sophistication were the visual objectives that Union Bank of Jamestown, Tennessee desired for their new 26,900 square
foot main office facility. The exterior design combines brick and stone reminiscent of many downtown buildings in Jamestown, including the courthouse
and the original Union Bank.
Customers enter the building by way of a dramatic, three-story atrium and continue into the spacious first floor
banking lobby, featuring decorative columns and archways that create smaller and more intimate areas for reception/waiting, teller lobby,
and loan department. The second floor can be accessed by stairs or an elevator and provides retail space for mortgage lending and insurance,
as well as space for Operations. Meetings are held in the partial third floor space, which includes a board room, training room and galley.
Custom millwork and Queen Anne style furniture, rich textiles and ornate lighting were incorporated into the interiors to help achieve this classic design.
