With two overlapping projects in mind, JAX Federal Credit Union needed the full service and experience of Design Build Concepts to simultaneously renovate their West Jacksonville, FL office, while initiating their new Atlantic Beach facility. Located three miles from the ocean, the 3,400 square foot building incorporates a breezy coastal theme and maintains brand awareness through the similar contemporary design of both projects. The exterior focal point is the central, angular tower, which is combined with a low awning style roof that ties in with the esthetics of the adjacent business district. Three convenient drive-up lanes welcome new and existing members. Inside, curved design elements reminiscent of wave shapes surround 4 open teller stations, 2 financial service officer stations, a coffee bar, an internet access station, and a children’s play area. An eye-catching check desk continues the beach theme with its genuine surfboard writing surface.

The Design Build Concepts team won the gratitude of JAX FCU throughout the dual project process with its expertise in architectural design, branding, and construction management.
